Some people believe in hand-me-downs. I guess you could call this a share-me-down.
A year or so ago, I was at Target and saw a really cute toddler dress (3T) that I thought would make an adorable shirt for Hallie. So I bought it! And I was right... it is cute on her. When she grows out of it or stains it beyond wearability, I hope to take it apart and figure out how to sew a few more in a similar style.
Today I went to the consignment store to find an Easter dress for R, since it seems she'll be with us on Easter. While I was there, I also found this cute little dress for just over $2. At that price, it seemed silly not to buy it for an extra church dress. Cute huh?
But the best part is, it's versatile, too! Look how cute the SAME DRESS is as a shirt on Hallie! Who knew girls 4 years apart in age could share clothes? :)

Great frugality! The girls look adorable!
