It feels really nice to finally be able to sell a few eggs and recoup a bit of feed money! $12 so far this afternoon (in less than 2 hours.) And some space has been reclaimed in my kitchen where we'd been storing the extras.
Like the sign? $1 chalkboard (leftover from our Pioneers study last February) and some vinyl ($0.25 a roll on a Lowe's clearance table last Summer) cut out on my Cricut.
(Speaking of vinyl... Treasury of Memories has some REALLY cute colors in. I've been using my green and white for a year now, labeling canisters and shelves, for posting our weekly verse to memorize on our Diningroom wall, but last weekend I went in to TOM's and got some fun new colors - bright pink and chocolate brown. $7.99 a roll, I believe... really reasonable. I can't wait to buy a few more colors as money allows and have them all available to use! Thanks to Elizabeth for the tape transfer trick - it's still a tad tricky, but so much quicker than placing the letters of our memory verses one at a time!)
I haven't updated on the chickens in a while. They are doing great. All nine are healthy and marvelous. Since the weather has warmed up, they are all laying like mad again - we're getting about 8 eggs a day!

Wow! $2 a dozen? we pay $4.25 a dozen at the local farmers market! What a steal! Good luck with the egg sales

We took our dozen for a walk around the neighborhood so we could show and tell our neighbors about the great deal. Thanks so much. We love them!

The sign is so cute...great use of the vinyl! :) Anytime you have a few "spare" minutes, stop by the store and we can walk through the process together to work out any "transferring kinks." It really should transfer very easily...and with all the excitement coming your way soon (hopefully), it would save you valuable time. Great to see you the other day! :)
