Today we took the children to the eye doctor. The new kids were due for a checkup and the old ones had never been. (H wears glasses, and we were told T was "borderline" at his last appoinment.)
All 4 big kids had appointments, and we pretty much reserved the whole office for the morning. They did each exam in stages, so each child went back 3 times. Between each session, Hallie would ask the doctor "Do I need glasses???" Obviously, she was very excited about the prospect. Although she'd be unlikely to admit it, I think she thinks H's glasses are pretty cute and wants a pair of her own.
When the appointments were finished... THREE children picked out new glasses. Guess who didn't need them?
This fake pair came with a Barbie she got from her grandma a few years ago. When she wears them, she becomes her alter ego, who she has named "Trina." I guess the Trina glasses will have to suffice until her eyes degenerate like she is hoping.

I was going to say, "if that's the pair she picked out, be glad she doesn't need them!"

Hillary: She looks adorable! A bit of a trend setter? lol Wow, I never noticed it before, but in that picture she could pass for my little girls twin sister. Same shade of hair and cut, cowlick, chubby cheeks, the same fake pout, tilt of the head and although I can't see the color of her eyes clearly, they look to be blue. LOL If you could see my little girlie you would laugh at the likeness too. This is the only time I have ever noticed this, in all the other pics I have seen no resemblence whatsoever. LOL too funny.

addendum: No resemblance other than hair and possibly eye color.
