Tyler and Hallie have been talking about playing soccer for the past year. But I didn't relish the thought of 3 practices a week and games all day every Saturday. So when I stumbled across a local soccer camp that was 3 hours a day for just a week this summer, I thought that would be perfect for our family.
(Ooh, the intensity!)
(I got some great shots of Tyler... wish I could share them!)
They had a great time, and Sam, Hailey and I got to spend some time doing fun things together too... like picking 31 1/2 lbs of strawberries!

Hilary, my kids used to go to a soccer VBS in Lynden, just off of Pole Rd. It was evenings for a week, and really cheap, like maybe $10 plus the kids got a soccer ball and Tshirt. I want to say something Fellowship... Good News Fellowship maybe? They did a great job with the kids - snacks every night, skits, soccer skills and drills, Bible, then a candy drop from an airplane on the last night when families were invited.
Also, if you are staying with MP3, we have been in the Sportsplex soccer this year and it was good. Only one hour a week and indoors. :) It might be full, not sure. You could go on a waitlist. ($300 Star funds for the year).
